Activities/Outreach series includes: Children's Floral Parade, 1931-1948; Halloween Parade, 1939-1940; newspaper clippings; a homeless women and children survey; the Overlook Boy's Club, 1929-1941; and Junior Police, 1939-1940. Administrative Records series includes: Club reports, 1913-1933; committee reports, 1922-1940; constitution and bylaws; correspondence, 1920-1947; minutes, including some roll-call and financial records, 1924-1931 and 1941-1949; Overlook Club House, including records of the water main petition, and resolutions (n.d.). Associations series includes: yearbooks and directories of other women's clubs such as the General Federation of Women's Clubs, 1930-1932; the Oregon Federation of Women's Clubs, 1926-1950; and the Portland Federation of Women's Organizations, 1923-1952. Also included are four issues of the "Oregon Club Digest," v. 1 #6-9. Yearbooks series contains a comprehensive run of the Club's yearbooks from 1914-15 to 1955-56. The yearbooks list a brief Club description, past presidents, officers, committees, a Club prayer, a program of the year's meetings and a list of members.

The Overlook Woman's Improvement Club was founded on October 24, 1913 with 16 members. The Overlook District comprises a small area in N. Portland to the north and west of Overlook Park.
